This was December 5th.

After a screw up on my prescription I went through accute opiate withdrawls for the last 5 days. Chills, Shakes, cramps, nightmares, paranoia, loss of appetite, a couple of halucinations, little to no sleep, depression. Can you say "Train spotting?" On Tuesday I almost checked into the hospital but thought I would give it another day. I finally got a full nights sleep last night, the first since last Saturday and the day looked brighter than the day before. I went and saw an Herbalist and was designed some herbs to take while I am tapering off of the opiates. In about 4 weeks I'll be completly finished with the pain meds and will then do a complete body detoxification. The good news is that the my doctor and his staff all now know HOW to correctly prescribe my medicine so I don't go through the living nightmare that I have been going through these last 5 days. Angela saved my life from drinking and I honestly can say that she has saved my life with what just happened.
