Good week for training. Really cold here this week with the highs in the mid 30's and lows in the teens.
I ran the Vancouver Lake Half Marathon on Sunday and had a great time! I decided to not "race" this run but to use it as a training run. I had the goal of running a pace between 8:30 - 8:45 and ended up running a 8:21. I felt great the entire race with no problems whatsoever. It was a treat for me to get to see Angela doing this race too! She started out an hour before me with the walkers and with this being a 2 out and back race we were able to pass each other a few times.The weather was cold and foggy. Race temp was 35 for the entire event. All in all a great event, low key and nice to have a race to do in January.

Run: 3:25/23.56 miles
