Awesome week. I spent Monday and Tuesday at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood for a work retreat. I was able to bring my bike and trainer to get a training session in. The elevation at the lodge is 6000' so my heartrate was a little bit high during my ride. I have been fighting a slight cold all week. It is just enough to take a little out of me but not bad enough to have any extra time off from my training.
Our marathon group Vancouver Fit starts in 2 weeks and I was selected to be a head coach this year! I am very proud and excited to be placed in this position. Now to plan Ironman training with marathon training....should be interesting!
I can't believe that I am 97 days away from starting my first Ironman! At times it seems that I can't get through some of the workouts and at other times I question is this really enough training. One of my many mantras is "trust your training". I need to work on that.
