It is really strange to me that it is October and I didn't do the Portland marathon or go hunting. Time has been really strange since my surgery and it is hard to describe. I'm not even going to try to.
I am starting to put together 2009's race schedule and there are just way too many events that I want to do. I will first have to determine what is going to be my "A" race and then start to prioritze which are more important. The Boise 70.3 is a event that I want to do but the water temps are similar to the icy coldness of Lake Coeur d"Alene and that is just too cold! Vineman in July in Northern California sounds better to me! Maybe a quick 4 day trip.
True satisfaction comes from working towards a goal and then performing to our potential given the circumstances.
